Terms of Service

These terms are an agreement between you and RNS STAR LLC, a limited liability company registered in the United States with its registered address at 99 Wall Street #112, New York, United States 10005. They cover this website and every product listed on it. By creating an account, buying a subscription or using any of our products, you accept them.

Who you are contracting with

All of our products are operated and billed by RNS STAR LLC. Whichever product website you sign up on, the contracting party, the merchant of record and the recipient of your payment is RNS STAR LLC.

Some products have additional product-specific terms shown at signup. Where those conflict with this page, the product-specific terms apply to that product.

Accounts

You must give accurate registration details and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for everything done through your account. You must be old enough to enter a contract where you live, and you may not use our services if you are barred from doing so under applicable sanctions or export law.

One person or organisation, one account. Creating multiple accounts to evade limits, trials, suspensions or billing is a breach of these terms.

Payment, renewal and taxes

Prices are shown on each product's pricing page before you pay and are quoted in USD. Payments are processed by Stripe; we do not store your full card details.

Charges appear on your card or bank statement as RNS STAR, LLC. See Billing & charges for the full breakdown by product.

Subscriptions renew automatically for the same period until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from the product dashboard or by emailing [email protected]; cancellation stops the next renewal and does not delete your account.

If a payment fails we may retry it and may suspend the service until it succeeds. Prices may change with notice; a change never applies to a period you have already paid for.

You are responsible for any taxes, duties or bank charges that apply to you and are not collected by us at checkout.

Acceptable use

Your use of our services is subject to the Acceptable Use & Anti-Spam Policy, which forms part of these terms. It matters most for our email products: sending unsolicited bulk email through our platform is prohibited and is enforced automatically.

Your content and your customers’ data

You keep ownership of everything you upload, send or generate through our services. You grant us only the permission we need to host, process and transmit it in order to run the service for you.

Where you send us data about other people — recipients of your email, contacts in a list, callers to your phone number — you confirm you have the right to do so and that you are the controller of that data. We act as your processor. See the Privacy Policy.

Text messages (SMS)

Our AI Calling Agent product can send text messages on behalf of a business that uses it — appointment confirmations and reminders, details and links a caller asked for, and follow-ups after a call. These are transactional and customer-care messages, sent only after the caller gave the business's agent their mobile number and agreed to receive a text.

• Message frequency varies — typically one to four messages per call or appointment.
• Message and data rates may apply. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
• Reply STOP to any message to stop receiving texts from that number. You will get one confirmation text and nothing more.
• Reply HELP, email [email protected] or call +1 878 867 9832 for help.
• Consent to receive texts is not a condition of any purchase.
• Mobile numbers and opt-in consent are never shared with third parties for marketing purposes — see the Privacy Policy.

If you use the calling product, you are the sender of every text sent through your account: you must complete the carrier registration it requires and honor every opt-out promptly.

Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate an account that breaches these terms or the acceptable use policy, that puts our platform or other customers at risk, or that we are required to act against by law or by our payment processor or upstream providers.

Where the situation allows it we warn first, then restrict, then suspend. Where the harm is immediate — active abuse, fraud, or a security threat — we may suspend without notice and explain afterwards. You can appeal any enforcement action by emailing [email protected].

You may close your account at any time. Fees already paid for a period that has been delivered are not refundable except as set out in the refunds policy.

Service availability

We operate our own infrastructure and aim to keep it available continuously, but no online service is perfect. Except where a product's own terms state a specific service level, our services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent the law allows.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, RNS STAR LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses, or for lost profits, revenue, data or goodwill. Our total liability arising out of or relating to the services is limited to the amount you paid us for the affected service in the twelve months before the claim arose.

Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, United States, and the courts of New York have exclusive jurisdiction, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. Material changes will be announced by email or in the product before they take effect, and the date at the top of this page will change. Continuing to use the service after that date means you accept the new terms.
